Though their lives and locations have changed, the members of Trio Village — flutist Rebecca Johnson, oboist Elizabeth Sullivan, and pianist Cara Chowning — remain intertwined within each other’s lives, and the distance between them has only strengthened their musical bond and motivation. On THREAD, the trio performs works by eight contemporary composers, which unite to celebrate the joys, challenges, and ever-changing aspects of life, and the enduring relationships that are found along the way.
